What I lack in youth, I make up for with immaturity

Agreeing with Dave Berry

For scheduling reasons, Dave had to give his election analysis before the election actually happened.  (That’s his story, and I’m sticking to it.) Hence this semi-brilliant article.

Notable quote:

What I’m saying is: we, as a nation, need to drink more martinis.

I resolve to do my part.

As a public service, I will reveal the recipe for The Jazzbumpa Martini

3 oz Gordon’s London Dry Gin

1 oz New Amsterdam Gin

1 oz Martini and Rossi dry vermouth

2 ginormous pimiento stuffed olives

Some sort of a skewer

Ice

Put the ice in a shaker.  Pour in the gins.  Get your martini glass, skewer the olives and put them in the glass.  Add the vermouth to the shaker.   Stall a little.  Put the lid on the shaker.  Swirl it around.  Pour the mixture into the glass and onto the olives.  Sip. Close your eyes and imagine you are in a pine forest. Ooohh - that is nice.
