Employment Growth Under Clinton and Bush II*
Earlier today I made the rash statement that the best months of job creation under Bush were in the range of the worst months under Clinton. Not so. The chart above shows the reality. Purple line is 12 month moving average. Blue horizontal line is average for all of Clinton’s term. Red horizontal line is average of Bush’s three best years only, ‘04, ‘05, and ‘06. Skewing the data this way to favor Bush still ends up with his best falling below Clinton’s average.
Another Republican failure.
