Annual Job Creation/Loss
Republicans: Bad for Job Creation
The annual value is the total of monthly values for the year.  The line segments in Blue are under Democratic Presidents.  The line segments in Red are under Republican Presidents.  (Kennedy/Johnson and Nixon/Ford are each taken as a single continuous administration.)
Each heavy horizontal line is average of the term of each respective Presidential administration, starting with Truman’s elected term.
Results under a Democratic President are always better than under a Republican. Even the much-maligned Jimmy Carter outperformed the beloved Ronald Reagan. Also, note that the first two years of a Republican administration always result in massive job losses.  The first two years of a Democratic administration always result in substantial job gains.
